Dougie Freedman and MICHAEL HUGHES are both out of Crystal Palace's home clash with Preston on Saturday.
Veteran midfielder HUGHES is sidelined for the rest of the season after having surgery on his ankle ligaments.
Frontman Freedman has an ankle knock but expects to only be out for a week.
Midfield trio Paul Ifill (achilles), Jobi McAnuff (hamstring) and Ben Watson (dead leg) will have late fitness tests.
Preston's Callum Davidson and Paul McKenna are both missing, while Matt Hill is doubtful with a hamstring injury.
Brett Ormerod (thigh), winger Lewis Neal (neck and illness) and striker Danny Dichio (back) should make returns.
